Chelsea Handler tweets from hospital
Comedienne Chelsea Handler was in the hospital on Thursday.
The E! network star was undergoing knee surgery and was forced to temporarily relinquish her Chelsea Lately hosting duties to Fortune Feimster.
Fortune Feimster will be filling in as the host on tonights show with more photos of me and my knee making a quick recovery. Pls support her, she tweeted along with a photo of herself in her hospital bed.
However, in true Handler fashion, the comic didnt let her hospitalization stop her from making her presence known on her late night series. Us Weekly reports that as Feimster was interviewing Real Housewives of Orange County stars Gretchen Rossi and Tamra Barney, Handler had a pre-taped message delivered in which she was seen making jokes about her hospitalization.
I just woke up from surgery from my vaginal rejuvenation surgery, a post-op Handler joked.
Ironically, Handler wasnt the only celeb tweeting from their hospital bed on Thursday. E! News reports that Pink was admitted to the hospital because of a stomach flu and proceeded to post an Instagram photo of herself hooked up to an IV.
Maybe its cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life but throw me in a gown and hook me up to an IV- and Im a happy girl. Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesnt, the singer wrote as a caption to her Instagram photo.
