Joan Rivers responds to Chelsea Handler remarks, calls comedian a 'drunk' - See video

The feud between Chelsea Handler and Joan Rivers continues as the two comedians recently traded jabs on Howard Stern's Sirius XM radio show.

Handler, who hosts the late-night talk show "Chelsea Lately" on E!, appeared on Stern's show on January 23. Stern asked Handler what she thought about Rivers' criticism of her in the past and Handler replied, "Joan Rivers? What the [expletive] do I care about Joan Rivers?"

Handler, 36, also talked about running into Rivers and her daughter at E! studios before adding, "I don't think about either one of them. Ever."

Rivers, 78, who hosts "Fashion Police" for the network, appeared on Stern's show the following day. Stern asked Rivers about the remarks Handler made on his show and Rivers said, "I'll tell you, number one, the girl made it on her back [expletive] the president, we all know that, of the network."

The "Fashion Police" host was referring to Handler's four-year relationship with Ted Harbert, the former CEO of Comcast Entertainment Group, which owns the E! Network. The two split in 2010 and Harbert currently works as the Chairman of NBC Broadcasting.

"Chelsea Lately" debuted in 2007 and was recently renewed for at least two more years.

"You promised you were not going to say that," Rivers' daughter Melissa said.

"Number two, she's fine, she's ordinary. She's not a genius," Joan Rivers ad! ded.

Rivers claims the feud started a few years ago when she was at an event and walked over to Handler to say hello. She claims Handler ignored her.

"Whatever she is -- she's a drunk, she has her own show. I don't wish her good luck; I don't wish her bad luck," Rivers said. "...but don't you come after me you whore."

Rivers appeared on Stern's show to promote the second season of her reality series "Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best," which premiered on January 24 on the WE television network.

Handler's new NBC sitcom "Are You There, Chelsea" premiered on January 11. The new show is loosely based on the raunchy comedienne's best-selling book, "Are You There Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea." Laura Prepon, 31, plays the comedienne, who works as a cocktail waitress at a New Jersey sports bar. Handler, 36, stars as her real-life older sister, Sloane.
