Chelsea Handler to parody 'Fifty Shades of Grey' with new book

Chelsea Handler is to parody Fifty Shades of Grey in an upcoming book, according to reports.

The Chelsea Lately host recently inked a deal with Grand Central Publishing to write 50 Shades of Chartreuse: This Time It's Personal, a source told Page Six.

50 Shades of Chartreuse: This Time It's Personal is expected to be released in October 2013, but Handler's spokesperson declined to comment on the project.

Four of Handler's previous books have landed on The New York Times' 'Best Sellers List'.

Her most recent memoir Lies That Chelsea Handler Told Me hit shelves in May 2011.

Chelsea Lately airs weeknights at 11/10c on E!.
