Katy Perry Will Perform at Star-Studded AmfAR Gala in LA to Honor CAA's Kevin Huvane
We've just gotten word that Creative Artists Agency managing partner Kevin Huvane will be honored at an amfAR Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles, on Oct.11.
Sarah Jessica Parker will present Huvane with Piagets Award of Inspiration for his contributions to the fight against AIDS. Proceeds from the evening will benefit amfARs life-saving AIDS research programs.
Katy Perry will perform a special set of her hits. Talk show host, actress and author Chelsea Handler will host the event, which will be held at Milk Studios.
The theme and dress for the special evening is Black Tie/Athletic Inspired, which will be interpreted by leading menswear designers in special fashion presentations during the event.

The Gala will be sponsored by MAC Viva Glam. Kenneth Cole (amfAR Chairman), Larry Boland, John Demsey, Michael Smith and John Sotoodeh will serve as chairs of the event. Sponsors include Piaget, Wells! Fargo, Hugo Boss and Kohler.
Previous Award of Inspiration honorees have included designer Jean-Paul Gaultier, Ricky Martin, James Franco, Fergie, designer Francisco Costa, photographer Mario Testino and Robert Duffy/Marc Jacobs International.
To date, the Inspiration series has raised more than $5 million for amfAR.
We're gonna go out on a limb and predict that some of Huvanes clients, including Brad Pitt, Natalie Portman, Tom Cruise, Keanu Reeves, Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, Ashton Kutcher, Kate Capshaw, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer, MIley Cyrus, Melissa McCarthy and Annette Bening might show up.
Huvanes brother Stephen Huvane is an A-list publicist who represents some of the most fashionable actresses in Hollywood including Anne Hathaway, Kirsten Dunst, Gwyneth Paltrow, Julianne Moore, Amanda Peet and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
If just a handful of these top talents show up, this red carpet could prove more star-studded than the Golden Globes.
