Chelsea Handler talks abortion

While on The Rosie Show, comedienne Chelsea Handler revealed that as a 16-year-old, she had an abortion.

She announced, I was so delusional. I was like, Im ready for a baby. I don't remember exactly what happened, but they were like, You're getting an abortion. I was trying to argue with them, and they said, You don't understand. You're throwing your entire life away. You're not having a child right now.

She then added, You should do whatever you want with your body, and you shouldnt let anyone tell you what to do. Its your decision, and I have no regret at all.

2012 has been a busy year for Handler. She has appeared in the NBC series Are You There, Chelsea?, which is based on a novel by the comedienne. She will also be appearing in the film This Means War, which will be released on February 17. Gal pal Reese Witherspoon also stars in the movie.

Talking about her famous female friends, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, Handler said, Jennifer Aniston is one of the most down to earth, low-key people I know. Shes just a regular girl.

She then added, And Reese is the same way. I mean you can't have friendships that arent based on realness. Im not going to treat them any differently than I would any other of my friends.
